Website operation

The server records access and error logs to operate and protect the website. Editor sign-in uses a necessary session cookie that expires after 24 hours. Public visitors do not need an account.

Stories and transcripts

Public videos from the Legions Word TikTok channel are transcribed and adapted into articles using OpenAI. Temporary video and audio processing files are deleted after processing. Transcripts and article revisions are retained so the editor can check and correct stories.
